I found this recipe in my Food and Family Magazine by Kraft. Didn't change much about it. This is how I made it. It was not only good but it was pretty too. As a side I drained off a can of black beans, mixed about a cup of shredded Mexican cheese and maybe 1/2-cup salsa in it and mixed well. . Black Bean Salad.

Taco Pie

1-lb lean ground beef
1-pg taco seasoning mix
1/2-cup water
4-flour tortillas (each one cut into fourths)
1-cup thick and chunky salsa
1-cup shredded Mexican cheese
1-cup shredded lettuce
4-green onions, chopped (tops and bottoms)
1 large red ripe tomato, chopped

Prepare the beef as directed on the taco seasoning mix packet. Drain off and put ? the meat into the bottom of a glass pie dish. On top of that put 8 pieces of the cut up tortillas. Top the tortilla with the rest of the meat and then the remaining pieces of the tortillas. Top the ?pie? with salsa, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and chopped onions. Serves 6-8
