Sweet Sour Vegetable Salad
one 16 oz can whole kernel corn, drained
one 16 oz can cut green beans, drained
2 cups frozen peas, thawed
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup sliced onion
1 cup chopped celery
Combine corn, green beans, peas, green pepper,
onion and celery in a heat-proof bowl. Pour dressing
over vegetable mixture Chill before serving (the longer
the better).
Dressing
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
To make dressing, combine all dressing ingredients
in a saucepan. bring to a boil and pour hot dressing
over vegetables.
