Chicken Almond Pie

1 unbaked pie shell
3 cups chopped cooked chicken
2 cups (8 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup sliced celery
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 cup mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste

Set aside 1/2 cup almonds and the cheese. Combine
remaining ingredients and spoon into pie shell. Top
with reserved nuts and cheese. Bake in a preheated
400 degree oven for 30 minutes.

You could easily use a combination of chopped ham
and chicken in this recipe.
