I wanted to share this recipe for Better Cake Mixes with all of you.
I tried it after finding it in a community cookbook, and I won't make a boxed
cake the same ever again!!!
Better Cake Mixes
1 cake mix of your choice
Prepare as directed on the box, except you add these ingredients with it before
putting it in the pan to bake.
Add:
3/4 cup of flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 cup of water
Bake as directed on the box after adding these ingredients. The difference in
the quality of the cake, is astounding. And it's so simple.
