This is for Linda in Michigan. This recipe has been a Christmas tradition in my family for 20+ years. BTW, I found a recipe for peach cake, which looks like it may be very similar to Baltimore Peach Cake. If the recipe is a success, I will submit it.

Bishop?s Bread

1? cups All Purpose flour
1? tsp. baking powder
? tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped dates
2 cups chopped nuts
1 cup candied cherries

Mix flour, baking powder & salt; set aside. Beat eggs, stir in sugar. Stir in chocolate chips, dates, nuts & cherries; mix well. Add flour mixture. Pour into greased & lined loaf pan. Bake at 325? for 1 hour. (I use my silicone loaf pan)
