Especially for Gloria in Indiana who is wanting a good shredded barbecue recipe for sandwiches. I highly recommend this one. It will yield enough meat for 12 sandwich buns. It freezes beautifully, and it can be thawed for party time, kept warm in crockpot for serving. Enjoy!

Barbequed Beef

3 pounds boneless chuck roast
1 1/2 cups ketchup
2 Tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Place chuck roast in crockpot. Combine remaining ingredients in mising bowl. Pour BBQ sauce mixture over chuck roast. Cover and cook on LOW 8-10 hrs. (prefer 10 hrs.). Remove chuck roast from crock pot and shred meat by using 2 forks to pull apart. Place shredded meat back in crockpot. Stir meat to evenly coat with sauce. Cover and continue cooking on LOW for 30-45 minutes. Spoon meat onto sandwich buns. Serves 12.
