Crock Pot BBQ Pinto Beans

1 pound dried pinto beans
3 cups water
1 onion, chopped
1 18 ounce. bottle barbecue sauce
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Sort beans, rinse and drain. Combine all ingredients in 3 to 4 quart crockpot. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or until beans are tender.
6 to 8 servings
