This is for Marlene FL who is looking for dessert suggestions for a dinner that she is having for her pastor. You might want to consider several different desserts so that people have a choice. The following recipe has been around for years and is always very popular. It is a great dessert any time, but especially in the summer since you don’t have to bake it.

The Next Best Thing to Robert Redford
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 sticks of softened butter

1st layer
1 8oz pkg of softened cream cheese
1 cup of powdered sugar
1 cup of coolwhip

2nd layer
1 small package of chocolate pudding
1 small package of vanilla pudding
2 cups of milk

Topping
1 cup cool whip
2 hershey bars grated

Preheat oven to 350. Mix crust ingredients, spread on bottom of a 9x13 pan. Bake for 25 mins cool completely. Mix the ingredients for the 1st layer, and spoon on top of crust. Mix the ingredients for the 2nd layer and spoon on top of 1st layer. Top with a thin layer of cool whip, and garnish with grated Hershey bar. Refrigerate 2 hours and cut into squares.
