I recently needed to make some cookies/candy and did not want to turn the oven on and heat up the house, so I made these. They are easy to make and everyone seems to like them. In the cooler months I have successfully sent them to our son, when he was serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, as as our adopted soldiers.

Reese's Pieces Bars

1/2 lb. melted butter (2 sticks)
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 lb. powdered sugar (3 ½ cups packed)
1 c. smooth peanut butter

Mix all by hand in a bowl and press into a 9x12 pan sprayed with non stick spray. In microwave, melt 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips. And spread over crust; cool until set; cut into bars. (You can refrigerate to speed the setup.)

(Although you don't use any Reeses Peanut Butter cups in this recipe, that's exactly what they taste like.)
