Broccoli Casserole
Steam 1 bunch of broccoli (washed, trimmed, and chopped) for
5 minutes.
Cook 1 pkg egg noodles to al dente (Do Not Overcook)
Mix together:
1 1/2 cups diced ham
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 can any cream soup
1 cup sour cream
2/3 cup milk
1 bag of thawed frozen peas
2 tbs Worchester sauce (Lea & Perrins ONLY) other brands are
not authentic and do not have
the true flavor.
Sauté:
2 tbs butter
1 onion chopped
1-2 cloves of garlic minced
salt and pepper (to taste)
Mix together for topping:
1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp melted butter
In large bowl stir together: ham/soup mixture, onion mix,
broccoli. Fold in noodles gently. Place in buttered large
casserole dish or 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350º for about 40
minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle topping and bake for 5
minutes more to melt cheeses. This is great for a crowd with
a side salad and rolls.
