looking for.
Cheese Stuffed Shells
Stuffing :
1/4 Cup fresh Parmesan Cheese
15 Oz. Ricotta cheese
8 Oz. light Mozzarella Cheese
Meat Sauce:
1 Lb. Ground Chuck
2 Tablespoons Olive oil
1/2 Cup Chopped Onions
2 or 3 Cloves of garlic (pressed)
1 Tablespoon Basil
1 or 1 1/2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
1/4 Teaspoon Sugar
Manicotti or Jumbo Shells
Cook shells (according to package directions) and drain
well.
For meat sauce:
Sauté onions, Garlic, Basil, & Italian seasoning in olive
oil. Add meat and brown well. Drain excess fat. Add Ragu
sauce and Sugar. Simmer 10-15 minutes.
For Cheese stuffing:
Mix all three cheeses well in large bowl.
Spoon some of the meat sauce into the bottom of a 9x13
baking dish. Stuff each shell with approximately 1
tablespoon of the cheese mixture. Lay shells in dish with
open side down.
Pour remaining sauce over shells. Bake at 350 degrees for 30
to 40 minutes.
