Someone asked for Pasta salad recipes. This is one I have made for years. Usually I just make the basic pasta salad and leave out the cold cuts, etc.

Cold Cuts and Macaroni Ring

2 pkgs. cold sliced meat or cold meat of your choice.
1 (8 oz) pkg elbow macaroni (cooked & drained)
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp cider OR wine vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/4 tp dry mustard
1 or 2 chopped green onions
1 cup of Miracle Whip type salad dressing
2 tbsp, chopped pimento (optional)
1 hard cooked egg
1/2 to 1 cup chopped celery

Place cooked macaroni in a large bowl. Combine oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and dry mustard - pour over macaroni. Fold in rest of ingredients.

Spoon into a 5 cup salad mold, packing down a spoon. Cover and chill for 2 to 3 hours. Turn out onto a large platter. Arrange cold meats around ring. Fill center with lettuce or tomato wedges.

NOTE:-
I usually just make it in a nice serving bowl and serve from it with the cold meats on a separate plate as well as the lettuce and tomatoes on another dish.
Do it the original way if for a fancy dinner.
