Nancy, in the October 31st newsletter Mr. Myron Drinkwater - Lake Forest, CA requested a Swedish Fruit Soup. I received this recipe from a lady that is 90, so it is a very old recipe. I have made it several times and it's very good. I hope it is the one he is looking for.

Fruit Soup ( Large Batch )

12 cups water
1 cup prunes -- seedless-fill the cup
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup raisins -- dark
1 cup sugar
12 ounces apricots
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup pearl tapioca
1/4 cup tapioca -- minute
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 sticks cinnamon
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice

Cook till the pearl tapioca is clear. Serve with cream.
