Liz Murillo Ontario Canada, here is the recipe I use for old fashioned style ginger snaps. T & T

Gingersnap Cookies

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening (may use butter or oleo)
4 tbsp. molasses
1 egg, beaten

2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. soda

Form into small round balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten gently with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Source: http://www.abbys-kitchen.com
