Double Orange Refrigerator Sheet Cake

1 pkg. (3 oz.) orange Jell-O
1 pkg. orange (or yellow) cake mix
Topping:
1-1/2 cups cold milk
1 tsp. orange extract
1 envelope Dream Whip topping mix
1 pkg. (4 serving size) instant vanilla pudding

Mix and bake cake, as directed on package for a 9 x 13 inch cake. Meanwhile, dissolve Jell-O in 3/4 cup boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold water and set aside at room temperature. Cool cake for 20 minutes. Poke deep holes through top of warm cake in pan, using meat fork; spacing holes about 1 inch apart. Pour Jell-O mixture slowly into holes. Refrigerate cake until well chilled.

For Topping: In a chilled, deep bowl, beat Dream Whip, instant pudding mix, cold milk and orange extract until stiff (3 to 8 minutes. Immediately frost cake. Chill at least an hour before serving. Can also
freeze the frosted cake.

Note: I always add a little grated orange peel to the cake mix for a stronger orange flavor. This is a delicious cake!
