Bavarian Noodles and Cabbage
8 oz Noodles (wide)
5 cups Cabbage (shredded)
6 Tbs. Butter
2 tsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Caraway Seeds
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Garnish:
2 Tbs. Parsley (fresh, minced)
Melt butter in a large skillet over
medium heat. Add Cabbage, Sugar, Caraway
Seeds, Salt and Pepper. Cook, stirring
occasionally, until Cabbage is crisp
tender. Keep warm. Cook Noodles
according to package instructions until
al dente. Drain Noodles and toss with
Cabbage mixture. Garnish with minced
Parsley and serve.
Serve with your favorite Brats or you
may wish to cut the cooked brats into
one inch pieces and add to the noodles
and cabbage. Serves 6.
