These are a treat for kids as well as adults.
Very festive on a bed of colored grass.

Candy Easter Eggs
Mix together:
1/2 cup Cheerios
1/2 cup Rice Crispies
1/2 cup Fruit Loops Cereal
1/2 cup plain M&M's (I use the Easter colors)
1/2 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup salted nuts
(Any mix to equal 3 cups will do.
The more colorful the better)
Pour in:
1 12-oz pkg white chocolate chips, melted
(Also very nice with milk chocolate)
Prepare Plastic Easter eggs by separating and
washing/drying.
Pull apart the eggs into halves and place them open-side-up
in a mini muffin tin (to make it easier to fill them). Very
lightly spray the inside of each egg with cooking spray.
Working quickly, (I work with a helper who closes the filled
eggs as I process them) spoon some of the candy mixture into
the halved eggs (going right up to the rim of each egg
half). Allow the eggs to completely cool and set up before
attempting to remove them from the plastic eggs. It can take
a little work to pop the plastic off the candy but be
patient and take your time. Store the eggs in a sealed
container in a cool place.
