This lasagna
recipe is for Bea. I have baked it and
frozen it and it is fine. Everybody
loves it.
Rosemary's Lasagna
Oven to 375
Sauce:
1 lb. Ground Chuck – cook until no
longer pink, then drain.
Add
3 cloves minced garlic
1Tbsp oregano
2 Tbsp parsley
1Tbsp basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
A 2-lb can peeled tomatoes
2 cans tomato paste.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Cheese Part - Mix together
16 oz. creamed cottage cheese OR
ricotta, OR mixed
3 whole beaten large eggs
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp parsley
1-1/2 tsp salt,
1 lb. Mozzarella Cheese sliced thin (or
shredded).
Boil regular lasagna noodles 12 minutes
(about 8 noodles). Make in 2 layers:
first noodles, cheese, sauce and repeat.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
Let sit 5 minutes or so after removing
from oven as it will cut easier.
