Corn Crab Bisque Chowder










Corn Crab Bisque Chowder

1 stick butter
1 small white onion chopped fine
2 cans cream corn
1 pint whipping or heavy cream
1 pint milk
1 pound white crabmeat
1/2 cup Instant mashed potato flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper

In a heavy saucepan, sauté onion in small amount of butter. Add the rest of the butter and melt; Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil and then lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent scorching. Makes 10 servings
This can also be served as an appetizer.
