Baked French Toast with Praline
Makes 20 slices
French bread or brioche or bread of
2 cups half-and-half
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Splash of favourite
500g butter (2 sticks),
1 cup light brown sugar,
1 cup pecans, chopped
tablespoons light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Preheat oven to 175C. Slice bread
into 20 slices, each 1 inch thick.
