which appeared in the 3/8/10 newsletter.
I made it for a family event last
weekend and it was a huge hit. It was
all quickly eaten and several relatives
left with the recipe, as they were eager
to make it.
Pie With Crumb Topping
2 Tbs. flour
slightly beaten large egg
vanilla or almond extract
1 cup sour
2 cups sliced peaches (if using
canned, drain) Can also use frozen
Combine and turn out into a 9 inch
pie shell. Bake 400° for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350° and bake 30 minutes.
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
cup softened butter or margarine
Cut together and sprinkle over pie.
Return to oven and bake 10 minutes at
