This is my recipe for oatmeal cookies requested a few days ago

Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
off from an old A&P bag of oatmeal

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
Beat this and then add
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
Mix and add
2 cups quick oats(not old fashioned)

Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes.

I have a friend that makes the best pinto beans in a crock pot. Even using her recipe exactly mine do not come out the same. Is there some secret in making pinto beans in a crock pot. I can't make navy beans in a crock pot either.

Potato Salad Recipe

3/4 cup Mayonnaise or Light Mayonnaise*
1 Tbsp. yellow Mustard or Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 cups cooked and cubed potatoes ( I like the new potatoes)
2 eggs hard-cooked and chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion or 1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/3 cup dill pickle relish**
1/4 cup finely chopped carrots

*.
**Or use 1/2 cup chopped sweet pickles.
Combine Mayo, mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper and relish and chopped cooked eggs. Mix with the other ingredients gently to blend thoroughly. Chill several hours before serving.
Makes 8 servings.

Grandma's Lime Cottage Cheese Jell-O Salad

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
Bring the above ingredients to the start of a boil. Let it thicken. Then
mix it with a beater until its mixed and light colored.

Add the following:
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (12 oz.) cottage cheese
1 c. whipped cream or Cool Whip
Mix all of the above and refrigerate before serving.

Jell-O Cottage Cheese Pineapple Salad Recipe

120 miniature marshmallows
1 pkg. Jell-O (preferably orange)
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 c. salad dressing (or 1/2 c. mayonnaise)
1 lb. cottage cheese

To one package Jell-O, add 1 cup hot water, stirring until dissolved; add 1/2 cup cold water and marshmallows. Stir until thick and syrupy. Set aside to cool. Drain pineapple well; add salad dressing or mayonnaise. Mix with cottage cheese. When Jello has sufficiently cooled, mix with pineapple, cottage cheese and salad dressing. Refrigerate until firm.

Do any of the great cooks out in Nancyland have a recipe for honey mustard? I don't have any idea about it since I don't use it .My daughter asked for it and I was stumped for an answer for her.

Avocado Hummus Recipe

1 can garbanzo beans/chick peas
1 Avocado
1/2 Lime, Juiced
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper

In a food processor, mix all ingredients. Enjoy.

Watermelon Popsicles Recipe
Yield: 8-10 Servings

5 cups seedless watermelon, chopped
2 tsp fresh lime juice
2 Tbsp sweetener, such as agave nectar or honey
1/3 cup mini dark chocolate chips
popsicle molds

Blend the watermelon, lime juice and sweetener in a blender until very smooth. Pour the mixture into a bowl or container and freeze, covered, for 1.5-2 hours. Remove from the freezer and stir with a spoon, the mixture should be slushy but not frozen. Add the chocolate chips and stir to mix well. Add mixture to popsicle molds and freeze until solid.

Easy Noodle Casserole Recipe

1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles
1 lb. ground beef
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
1 (16 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese
6 green onions, chopped (tops and all)
grated Parmesan cheese

Brown the ground beef, season with garlic salt. Add the tomato sauce and simmer. Meanwhile, cook the noodles, al dente. Mix the sour cream and cottage cheese and chopped green onion.

Make layers in a 2 quart casserole, starting with small amount of hamburger and tomato sauce, noodles, then cottage cheese and sour cream mixture, ending with hamburger mixture.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Easy Oven Fried Chicken Recipe

2 c. crushed potato chips
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. curry powder
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. frozen orange juice concentrate
1/4 c. water
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up salt
1/4 c. melted butter or margarine

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Blend together potato chips, pepper and curry powder. Use a blender for the easiest way. Mix together eggs, orange juice and water. Lightly salt chicken.

Dip chicken in egg mixture and then in seasoned potato chips. Place chicken pieces side by side in a greased pan. Drizzle with melted butter and bake until tender, 40 to 45 minutes.

Easy Chops and Tators Recipe
Makes 2 Recipes

2 pork chops
2 large peeled potatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1/3 cup milk

Peel and slice potatoes into casserole dish. Add chopped onions. Mix soup with milk and pour over potatoes. Chops go on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, turning chops over once at half hour mark.

Easy Chicken and Rice Casserole Recipe

1 c. instant rice
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can mushroom soup
1 whole chicken or chicken
parts

Spread uncooked rice in 9 x 13-inch pan. Arrange chicken over rice. Sprinkle onion soup mix over chicken. Put mushroom soup over chicken. Add boiling water called for in soup (4 cups). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Good and easy.
