Apricot Pie Recipe

1 can (10 biscuits) biscuits
1 (14 ounce) can peeled apricot halves
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. honey

Pour apricot juice into small saucepan; reserve drained apricots. Add flour and sugar to juice; place over medium heat; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Place apricot halves in oblong glass baking dish, 10 x 6 x 1-1/2 inches. Pour cooked juice over apricots. Arrange biscuits over apricots. Pour 1/2 teaspoon honey over each biscuit. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes or until biscuits are brown.

Tomato Bacon Squares Recipe

8 slices bacon
1 medium seeded tomato
half small onion
3oz shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp basil
1 can (10oz) Hungry Jack Flaky biscuits

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coarsely chop and mix together 8 slices crisply cooked bacon, 1 medium seeded tomato and half of a small onion. Mix in 3oz shredded Swiss cheese, 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1tsp basil. Take 1 can (10oz) hungry jack flaky biscuits and separate halves into bottom of a pan. Spread bacon mixture over the top and bake according to instructions on biscuit can (350 degrees for 8-11 minutes).

Apple Biscuits Recipe

1 can Hungry Jack flaky biscuits (10 count)
1 Granny Smith apple
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Separate biscuits in half to make 20 biscuits. Slice apple thin. Place apple piece in biscuit and fold. Place in Pyrex dish. Pour water, sugar and butter mixture over biscuits. Bake on
350° until biscuits are done.

Pumpkin Donuts Using Canned BiscuitsPumpkin Donuts Recipe

2 cups vegetable oil for frying
4 cups powdered sugar
4 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)

3 to 4 tablespoons half-and-half
1 can Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits (8 biscuits)

In 2-quart saucepan, heat oil over medium heat to 350°F to 375°F.

In large bowl, beat powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin and just enough half-and-half with whisk until smooth and thick glaze forms. Set aside.

Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Using small round lid or cookie cutter, cut hole in center of each biscuit.

Gently place 2 or 3 biscuits in hot oil. (Biscuit holes can also be fried!) Fry on one side until golden brown. With tongs, gently turn each biscuit over; fry until other side is golden brown.
Remove doughnuts from oil; immediately dip into pumpkin glaze. Place doughnuts on cooling rack; cool 3 to 5 minutes or until glaze is set before serving.

Monkey Bread Recipe

3 cans of biscuits
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Cut 10 biscuits in quarters (1can) dip in melted margarine, then toss in cinnamon and sugar mix. Put in bottom of bundt pan. Cut remaining 20 biscuits into quarters, toss in sugar and cinnamon. Put in pan and drizzle with remaining margarine. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 30 minutes. Let stand in pan for 5 minutes, turn onto plate. Best served while warm.

Pigs In A Blanket Recipe

2 cans of ready made biscuits
1 pkg. of 10 hot dogs
catsup
mustard

Cut hot dog into fours. Roll out biscuit, then cut in half. Wrap hot dog piece with half of biscuit. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with catsup and mustard.

Peach Cobbler Recipe

3 T. butter
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 - 15 oz. cans sliced peaches, drained
1 tsp. cinnamon
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 can refrigerated biscuits
1/2 chopped nuts (opt.)

In saucepan; melt butter, stir in brown sugar, peaches, cinnamon, and vanilla. Spread half of mixture in a 2 - 3 quart shallow baking dish. Separate biscuits; cut each into quarters. Arrange pieces, points up over mixture. Spoon remaining mixture over biscuits; sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350° for 35 - 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve warm.
Makes 8 servings.

Easy Eclairs Recipe

1 can biscuits
containers of vanilla Snack Pack pudding
1 can chocolate frosting

Bake biscuits according to pkg. directions. Let cool. Pull biscuits apart and spread vanilla pudding in center. Put top back on and spread chocolate frosting on top.

Santa Fe Nacho Pizza Canned Biscuit RecipeSanta Fe Nacho Pizzas

1 can (10.8 ounces) refrigerated dough for large flaky biscuits
3 tablespoons black bean dip
1/3 cup thick-and-chunky salsa
2 tablespoons chopped canned green chilies
2 medium green onions, chopped (2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons sliced ripe olives
3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar marble cheese (3 ounces)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Heat oven to 350º. Unroll biscuit dough. Press or roll dough into 5-inch circles on ungreased cookie sheet. Spread dough with bean dip. Top with salsa, chilies, onions and olives. Sprinkle with cheese and cilantro.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown and cheese is melted.

Apple Dumplings Recipe

2 Granny Smith apples
1 lemon
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 canned buttermilk biscuits
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Peel, core and slice the apples vertically into 8 slices each. Squeeze the lemon into a bowl of water and add the apple slices to keep from turning brown. In a medium saucepan, mix 1 cup water, 3/4 cup of the sugar, the butter and vanilla. Bring
the sugar mixture to a boil over medium heat.

Separate each biscuit into 2 layers. Wrap a biscuit layer around a slice of apple, stretching the biscuit slightly to overlap, and seal on the bottom. Place the wrapped slices, sealed-side down, in a 9- by 12- by 2-inch casserole dish. Pour the hot sugar mixture over
the apple slices. Mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle the mixture over the tops of the wrapped apples. Bake until golden brown, 35 minutes.

Beef Stew and Dumplings Recipe

1 (1-1/2 lb.) can beef stew
1 pkg. prepared biscuits (10 count)

Place stew in 3 quart saucepan. Rinse with 1/4 cup water. Blend. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Place biscuits on simmering stew; cover tightly. Turn heat to low; simmer 10 to 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
Yield 4 servings.

I use any of the canned chunky soups or Progresso soups. I use the 5 count can biscuits for the smaller cans of chunky soup. On of my favorites is pepper steak soup with biscuits for dumplings but any of the chunky soups will work just as well.

Reuben Rolls Recipe

1 (10 count) can biscuits
1 (8 oz.) can sauerkraut
1/4 c. Thousand Island dressing
10 thin slices corned beef
10 (1/2-inch) strips Swiss cheese

Flatten biscuits individually. Snip sauerkraut with scissors. Place 1 1/2 tablespoons sauerkraut on each biscuit. Top with 1 teaspoon Thousand Island dressing, corned beef and 1 cheese strip. Roll up like jelly rolls.

Pizza Money Bread Recipe with canned biscuitsPepperoni Pizza Monkey Bread

2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 can Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
4 slices (1/4 inch thick) fresh mozzarella cheese
1 cup mini pepperoni slices

Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 4 (4-inch) tart pans with cooking spray.

In medium bowl, beat butter and garlic salt with whisk. Separate dough into 8 biscuits; cut each into quarters. Dip biscuit pieces into butter mixture; divide pieces evenly among tart
pans.

In large bowl, mix tomatoes, sugar, salt and Italian seasoning. Spoon equal amounts of tomato mixture on top of biscuit pieces in each pan. Top each with slice of cheese and 1/4 cup pepperoni.

Bake 14 to 16 minutes or until bread is dark golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Serve
immediately.

Cherry Pizza Recipe

5 canned refrigerated biscuits
1 lb. can cherries, no seeds
1/4 c. sugar or 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. butter or margarine

Put biscuits in baking pan and mash them down to about 1/4" thick. Use your fingers to make a rim on the crust. This will keep the fruit on the crust. Drain juice from cherries and add on top of the biscuits. Put sugar in a small bowl. Add flour and butter. Mix with a fork until it looks crumbly. Sprinkle over the fruit. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Bake until crust is brown.

Berry Dumplings Recipe

1 pt. strawberries or blackberries
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 (10 count) can biscuits

Take fruit and sugar, bring to boil. Add butter. Tear biscuit dough in small pieces and drop in boiling mixture. Continue to boil until dough is done.

Baked Banana Biscuit Fritters Recipe

3 ripe bananas
1 can (10 count) Biscuits
Cinnamon and sugar in a shaker

Pat biscuits into flat rounds 3 inches wide. Put sliced bananas on half, sprinkle sugar mixture. Fold over and crimp like pie crust with a fork. Prick on top 3 or 4 times. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 400 degrees 10 minutes.

Vegetable Dumplings Recipe

3 medium white potatoes
1 can buttermilk biscuits (10 count)
1 (14 ounce) can sweet peas
1 sm. onion

Peel potatoes and slice very thin in large pot with the onion. Fill pot about 1/2 full of water and simmer until very tender. Roll out the biscuits and cut into thin strips. Bring potatoes and onions to a rapid boil. Drop strips of biscuits into the pot and make sure to keep turning them under the water. Continue with this until the water thickens. Reduce heat and simmer until the liquid forms a creamy sauce, about 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Pizza Biscuit Snack RecipeBiscuit Pizza Snacks

1 (12-oz.) can Pillsbury® Grands!® Jr. Golden Layers® refrigerated flaky original biscuits
3/4 cup pizza sauce
80 pepperoni slices (from two 3.5-oz. pkg.)
4 oz. (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese

Heat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease cookie sheets.

Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Separate each biscuit into 4 layers; place on greased cookie sheets. Spread each biscuit layer with 1 teaspoon pizza sauce. Top each with 2 pepperoni slices and about 2 teaspoons cheese.

Bake at 400°F. for 7 to 9 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
