We need to save money on groceries because of everything going up in price. I need our NancyLand group's thrifty recipes using potatoes, macaroni, and rice. What are ways that I can save on meat by using potatoes, macaroni, beans and rice. My family is used to meat and potatoes at every meal. They are not going to react kindly to less meat. Does anyone have any suggestions on helping them feel better and not complaining about less meat?

My husband bought a huge bag of rather sour green grapes. Has anyone ever used grapes in place of rhubarb? I saw a recipe for grape pie but I don’t know if the family would try that. I thought that I’d try them in bread. I tried to cook some on the stove, like Ina did in one episode but they were still sour and not a texture that would work for my family either. Yes, they are a little fussy. Thanks for any suggestions.
