A holiday dinner at my sister's house always includes this candy. It is easy to make and can make a great gift.

Crockpot Candy Recipe

2 pounds white candy coating, or almond bark, broken into small pieces
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
4 ounces German's Sweet Chocolate
24 ounces dry roasted peanuts (4 cups)Can substitute pecans, almonds or other nut, or use a combination of nuts

Spray crockpot with non stick spray. In crockpot, combine the white candy coating or almond bark, German's Sweet Chocolate, and semisweet chocolate chips. Cover and cook on LOW for 1-1/2 to 2 hours until chocolate is melted, stirring about every 15 - 20 minutes until all is melted. Add peanuts and stir well, then drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto waxed paper or parchment paper lined cookie sheets. Once cooled, store at room temperatur

Space Ships Recipe

Whole pecans
caramels
Hershey chocolate kisses

Remove wrapping from caramels and kisses. Place 2 pecans together length wise on a baking sheet. Place caramel on pecan.

Bake at 200-250 degrees for 5 min. or until caramel has partially melted. Place chocolate kiss over melted caramel and let chocolate melt a little. Let cool and store in air tight container.

This is for Dianne in Wisconsin-I never thought I could freeze the Grands Biscuits and was happy to find out it can be done. When you go to bake them off, do you have to thaw them first and do you use the direction on package, or does it take longer?

Potato Chip Peanut Clusters Recipe

15 oz. peanut butter chips
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. crushed potato chips
1 (24 oz.) jar dry roasted peanuts

Put chips in microwave 2 to 3 minutes until glossy. Mix in potato chips and peanuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.

I have been in retirement for several years but must go back to work to make ends meet. I need some freeze ahead meal recipes. I would like some of the NancyLanders favorite recipes for main dish and side dish recipes that can be frozen and easily reheated. My plan is to take my two days off and cook for the rest of the week. Any suggestions and recipes would be appreciated.

Potato Chip Cookies Recipe

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white granulated sugar
1 c. Crisco shortening
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
6 oz. butterscotch chips
2 c. potato chips

Cream together sugars and Crisco. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well after each addition. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 12-15 minutes.
Yield: 4-1/2 dozen.

Chocolate Chip Potato Chip Cookies Recipe

1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. crushed potato chips
1/2 pkg. chocolate chips
nuts

Cream margarine, brown sugar and white sugar. Add egg. Add flour and baking soda. Add potato chips and chocolate chips. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes at 350 two inches apart on greased sheet. Cool for 30 seconds on sheet, then 5 minutes on rack. Store in airtight container.

My family does not celebrate Halloween. Does anyone have a soup or meal recipe to be served or cooked in a pumpkin. There are so many good deals on pumpkin that it is a good buy.

Hot Potato Chip Chicken Salad Recipe

5 c. cooked chicken
3 c. celery, sliced thin
1- 1/2 c. crushed potato chips
2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/4 Tbsp. onions (optional)
1 c. toasted slivered almonds

Topping:
1 c. grated cheese
2 c. crushed potato chips

Heat oven to 450. Combine all ingredients, except last two. Put in lightly floured 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Top with cheese and chips. Bake 10 to 15 minutes.

Potato Chip Oven Fried Chicken Recipe

2-1/2 to 3 lb. broiler chicken, cut up
2 c. crushed potato chips
1/3 c. melted margarine
dash of garlic salt

Dip chicken in melted margarine and roll in crushed chips. Sprinkle with garlic salt and place in buttered pan, skin side up. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until tender.
Makes 4-6 Servings

Potato Chip Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

2 cups white meat chicken, cut into small pieces
1 (14 ounce) can Veg-All
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 bag potato chips (regular size bag)

Mix in bowl the chicken, Veg-All (drained), cream of chicken and cream of celery. Add a dash of salt and pepper. Pour into baking dish or pan and spread it out. Bake at 400 for about 30 minutes. Take out of oven and put crushed chips on top. Put back in oven. Turn to 450 and bake until chips are brown.
Makes 4 servings

Potato Chip Baked Fish Fillets Recipe

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
1/2 c. saltine or club style crackers
1/2 c. potato chips
1 lb. crappie fillets

Melt the butter and pour into a shallow bowl. Add the paprika and lemon pepper. Crush the crackers and the potato chips. Mix them together in a small bowl and pour the crumbs onto a plate or waxed paper. Dip the fish fillets in the butter mixture and coat with the crumbs. Place the fillets in a single layer in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes for small fillets and 10 minutes for large. Turn the oven to broil and cook the fish for 5 to 7 minutes or until nicely browned.
Serves 4.

Potato Chip Carrot Casserole Recipe

4 to 5 c. carrots
1 c. diced Velveeta cheese
crushed potato chips
1/4 c. butter
1/2 small onion, diced

Slice and cook carrots in salted boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain and add butter. Stir until melted, then stir in cheese and onion. Place in buttered casserole dish. Cover with crushed potato chips. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

Tuna and Potato Chip Casserole Recipe

1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. crushed potato chips
1 c. cooked, drained green peas
1/2 c. milk
1 (6 ounce) can tuna
1/4 c. crushed potato chips

For a tasty, easy tuna casserole combine soup, 1 cup crushed potato chips, green peas, milk and tuna. Mix well. Place in well-greased casserole. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup crushed potato chips. Bake 20 minutes at 325.

Crockpot Chili Recipe

2 (14 ounce) cans kidney beans
3/4 c. onion
1/2 bottle ketchup
1 lb. hamburger
1 1/2 pkg. chili seasoning mix

Put beans in crock pot while you brown hamburger. Add hamburger to beans. Add all other ingredients. Cook on low 6-8 hours.

Crockpot Italian Spaghetti Recipe

1 1/2 lb. ground chuck, browned
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf

In a crock-pot, combine all ingredients. Stir thoroughly and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove bay leaf before serving.
Serves 6.

Crock Pot Spinach Casserole Recipe

2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
2 c. cream-style cottage cheese

1
/4 c. butter, cut into pieces
1-1/2 c. cubed American cheese
3 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

Combine and mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into greased crock-pot. Cover and cook on high 1 hour. Then cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
Serves 8 to 10.
