This has been a favorite pork chop recipe for many years. The veggies and meat are cooked together in a flavorful sauce.

One Pot Pork Chop Supper Recipe

4 pork chops
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp, caraway seed, or oregano (I used oregano)
6 small whole potatoes (or 3 medium, quartered)
4 small carrots, split lengthwise and cut in 2" pieces
(I also add some sliced onion)

In skillet, brown chops; drain grease. Add rest of ingredients; cover and simmer until veggies and meat are tender, 45 to 60 minutes.

This cake has been a favorite with our family for many years. This recipe originally called for the larger size (18.25 oz.) cake mix, so may need to add 6 tbsp. of another dry yellow cake mix to achieve perfect results, since the mixes are smaller now. I store the remaining dry cake mix in a tightly sealed container to use another time.

Ugly Ducking Cake Recipe

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (4 serving size) lemon instant pudding
1 can (15 oz.) fruit cocktail, undrained
1 cup flaked coconut
4 eggs
1/4 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Blend all ingredients, except brown sugar and nuts, in a large mixer bowl and beat 4 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts, if using.
Bake at 325 for 40 to 45 minutes, or until tests done with toothpick. Cool 15 minutes and top with glaze. serve warm or cold with whipped cream, if desired.

Combine 1/2 cup EACH butter, granulated sugar and evaporated milk in small saucepan; boil for 2 minutes. Stir in 1-1/2 cup flaked coconut and drizzle over the warm cake till all
glaze is used up.

To answer Barb OKC question concerning the consistency of my Heavenly Hash recipe (also called Duchess Cream). It is suppose to be a soft fluffy texture, similar to tapioca pudding. It doesn't have gelatin in it (such as a flavored Jello) so it won't be firm like a salad or dessert would be that has it for a ingredient. Make sure it cooks the full time, until thickened. The whip cream has to be beat until stiff and don't fold it in until the mixture is thoroughly cooled.

NOTE: I'm not sure if there would be a difference or not in the consistency, but I've seen recipes where you let the tapioca mixture sit for 5 minutes before cooking.

I just moved into an apartment that has mostly tile floors.  What is the proper way to keep tile floors clean and is there any products I shouldn't use on them.  Any help would be appreciated. 

Nancy everyone is giving the instructions about peeling tomatoes as if they were canning tomatoes and had a lot of tomatoes to peel. If you just want to peel 3 or 4 to eat fresh on the table just take a sharp paring knife and just peel as you would an apple. The only way I would ever put them in boiling water is if I was going to can or freeze them. It would affect the taste.

Spinach and Tomatoes Recipe
Makes 8 servings

Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
6 garlic cloves, sliced
2 package (10 oz) fresh spinach,
3 plum tomatoes seeded and diced
1 dash of salt

Heat oil in pan over medium heat. Add garlic, sauté until just slightly brown, about 2 minutes.

Add spinach, sautéed for 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes, sauté until all spinach is tender, about 2 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.

Spinach Salad with Lime Dressing

Makes 4 Dressing

1 bunch clean spinach leaves
5 or 6 green onions, thinly sliced
1 (8 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 c. slivered almonds
Lime poppy seed dressing

Combine salad ingredients set aside. Whisk together the following

Lime Dressing
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon finely shredded lime peel
1 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground mace.

Pour over salad. Toss to coat. Serve immediately.

I wanted to do some Spring Cleaning around my house.  One of the items on my list is to clean the gunk off the bottom of my skillets.  What product works the best and what is the easiest way to do this. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Lime Vinaigrette Salad Dressing Recipe

1/4 Cup lime juice
1 Cup olive oil
1/4 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
3 Cloves garlic
1 Medium jalapeno pepper, seeded (I use much less)
1 Cup fresh cilantro, remove stems

Mix all ingredients in blender and puree. Transfer to a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake well before using.

Fried Zucchini and Tomatoes Recipe

1 med. Zucchini
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 can tomatoes
3 tbsp. Butter
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Cut unpeeled zucchini into 1/4 inch slices. In large frying pan, cook onion in butter until clear. Add zucchini, fry 10 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes with juice. Bring to boil. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer 20 minutes. Top with Parmesan cheese. Heat until cheese melts.
