I made this for our supper recently and we enjoyed it really well.
The seasoning combination on top of the chicken is really flavorful!

Southern Oven Fried Chicken Recipe

1 fryer chicken (about 3 lbs.) cut into pieces
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups Ritz cracker crumbs
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. cumin

Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Wash chicken pieces well and pat dry with paper towel. Melt butter in bowl. Place cracker crumbs on plate. Mix all seasonings together in small bowl.

Dip chicken pieces in butter and then roll in cracker crumbs; place chicken in prepared pan. Sprinkle chicken evenly with the seasoning mixture. Bake at 375 for about 55 minutes, until deep golden brown ad chicken juices run clear. You can turn chicken
pieces over half way through baking time, but it's not necessary.
