Oma's Seven-up Cake Recipe

Ingredients
3 oz lemon gelatin
1 lemon cake mix
4 eggs
3/4 cup oil
10 oz can 7-UP
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cube margarine (stick)
8 oz can undrained crushed pineapple
2 Tbl flour
2 eggs
3 oz can coconut

Directions
Mix cake mix, eggs, oil and 7-UP. Add gelatin and mix more. Pour into 3 - 8" or 2 9" pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool and frost.FROSTING: Cook sugar, margarine, pineapple, flour and eggs until thick (about 10 minutes). Add coconut and mix thoroughly. Cool a little before you frost the cake.
