Lisa's Popcorn Recipes

Microwave Caramel Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients
3 qt. popped corn, equal to 12 cups.
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light karo syrup
1 stick margarine
Pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions
Go through popped corn and make sure unpopped kernels are removed. Put in brown bag. Combine brown sugar, syrup, margarine, salt and vanilla in microwave-safe bowl. Place in microwave on highand cook until it boils, about 2-1/2 minutes. After it starts boiling, boil for 2 minutes. Take out and add baking soda and mix well. Pour mixture over popped corn in a brown bag and shake well. Put bag in microwave for 1-1/2 minutes. Shake again and pour onto waxed paper or cookie sheets in a single layer to cool.

Microwave Marshmallow Caramel Corn Recipe

Ingredients
1 c. unpopped popcorn
14 large marshmallows
1 c. brown sugar
2 sticks margarine
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Directions
Pop popcorn and put aside in large bowl. In another large bowl layer marshmallows, brown sugar and butter. Cover loosely with saran wrap. Microwave for 3 minutes and 30 seconds on high. Take out and stir well, add baking soda, stir well. Cover again and microwave for 45 seconds on high. Stir well. Pour over popcorn a little at at time, mixing well.

White Chocolate Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients
3 bags microwave popcorn, popped
1-12 oz. bag white chocolate chips

Directions
Melt chips and pour over top of popcorn in a large bowl. Mix together lightly. Spread on wax paper to cool. Break apart and serve.

Cranberry Popcorn Balls Recipe

Ingredients
6 c. popped corn
3 c. miniature marshmallows
1 T. butter or margarine
1 c. dried cranberries, chopped
1 c. walnuts, chopped
2 T. orange peel
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions
Place popcorn in a large bowl; set aside. In a heavy saucepan over low heat, cook and stir marshmallows and butter until smooth. Stir in cranberries, walnuts, orange peel and salt; mix well. Pour over popcorn and toss to coat. Press into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Cool. Cut into bars with a serrated knife.

Cinnamon Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients
3 qt. popped popcorn
1/2 lb. margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions
Melt margarine in saucepan. Add sugar and cook until it bubbles. Add seasonings and pour over popped corn and toss. Place in a shallow baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes. While baking stir once or twice. Store in large tin. Great for the holidays!
