Banana Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 c. sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 bananas, sliced very thin
1 pie shell (9-inch), unbaked
3 egg whites
6 T.sugar

Directions
Combine first 3 ingredients. Gradually add milk and cook in microwave on high until boiling. Add egg yolks and continue cooking on high in microwave until very thick. Add butter and vanilla and let cool. Stir in bananas. Make meringue by beating egg whites (with a little cream of tartar) and adding sugar one T. at a time until stiff. Spread on pie filling. Bake in a hot oven (400 degrees) for about 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Cool thoroughly.

Old Fashion Chess Pie Recipe

Ingredients
1 c. butter, melted
2 c. granulated sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked

Directions
Melt butter with sugar; cool. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees or until golden brown and tested as being done.

Old Fashion Chocolate Pie Recipe

Ingredients
2-1/2 c. sugar
3 heaping T. flour
3 heaping T. cocoa
1 lg. can caranation milk
2 c. milk
6 eggs, seperated (save whites)
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Meringue
6 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c.sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar (optional)

Directions
In large boiler mix sugar, flour, cocoa, milk, carnation milk, egg yolks, vanilla and butter. Cook over medium-low heat stirring "Constantly". Do not allow to boil. Cook until thick like gravy. Pour into cooked pie shells and allow to cool. While pies are cooling prepare meringue. In medium bowl add egg whites, vanilla, sugar and cream of tartar. Beat vigorously until peaks. Spread over cool pies and bake at 350 until meringue turns golden brown.

Pecan Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients
3 eggs
1 c. solid pumpkin
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2/3 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
3 T. melted butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecan halves
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Directions
Stir together 1 lightly beaten egg, pumpkin, 1/3 c. sugar and pie spice. Put in bottom of pie shell. Combine 2 eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla. Stir in nuts and put over pumpkin layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until set.

Sour Cream Peach Pie Recipe

Ingredients
4 fresh peaches
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. corn starch
1 tsp. almond extract
1- 8 in. pie shell

Directions
Mix sour cream, sugar, cornstarch and almond extract. In an 8 inch pie shell place peaches which are peeled,pitted and cut in halves pit side up. Pour sour cream mixture over peaches. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.

Sour Cream Blueberry Pie Recipe

Filling
3/4 c. sugar
3 T. all-purpose flour
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. fresh blueberries
1 (9") unbaked pie shell

Topping
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 T. butter or margarine, melted

Filling:
In large bowl, mix together sugar and flour. Add sour cream, eggs and almond extract. Mix well. Stir in blueberries. Pour mixture into pie shell.

Topping:
Combine flour, brown sugar, and butter. Mix well. Sprinkle evenly over filling. Bake in 375 degrees oven till set, 40 to 45 min. Serve warm or cool.
