Lemon Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
1 c shortening
2 c sugar
1/4 c emon juice
1/2 c water
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts cream of tartar
3 c flour

Beat shortening for 30 seconds. Add sugar & continue to beat till light and fluffy. Combine lemon juice & water. Combine the dry ingredients. Alternately mix the dry & wet ingredients with the beaten mixture. Mix well. Drop by spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 450F.
Makes about 5 Dozen

Rice Krispies Treat

Ingredients
1/4 c Margarine or butter
1 pk (10 Oz.) (about 40) marshmallows
6 c Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 c M&M's candy or Reese's Pieces or nuts

Directions
Melt margarine in large pan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add rice cereal and stir until well coated. Mix in desired extra or leave plain. Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, press mixture evenly into a buttered 13x9x2-inch pan. Let cool; cut into squares.

Caramel Rice Krispie Bars Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 c Margarine
8 c Mini marshmallows
8 c Rice Krispies
14 oz Caramels
14 oz Sweetened condensed milk

Directions
Melt 1/4 cup margarine and 4 cups marshmallows. Add 4 cups Rice Krispies. Pat in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Melt caramels, 1/4 cup margarine and sweetened condensed milk together. Pour over Rice Krispies in pan. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes. Prepare another Rice Krispie mixture like the first. Put on top of caramel layer. Keep refrigerated.

Zucchini Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
1 c grated zucchini
1 ts baking soda
1 c sugar
1/2 c shortening or butter
1 egg, beaten
2 c flour
1 ts cinnamon
1/2 ts ground cloves
1/2 ts Salt
1 c chopped nuts
1 c raisins

Mix together zucchini, soda, sugar, butter, and beaten egg. Sift in flour, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Stir to blend. Stir in raisins and nuts and drop batter by the teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375F oven 12-15 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen.
