Sharon's Carrot Bread Recipe
1 c. sugar
1 c. shredded
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Mix sugar, oil and eggs.
Stir in carrots. Mix in flour, baking
powder, salt, cinnamon and nuts. Pour
into 1 large or 3 small greased loaf
pans. Sprinkle tops with sugar. Bake at
350 degrees for 40 -45 minutes. Can add
nuts or cherries to form flowers for a
nice Christmas bread.
