listed as "Iowa Corn Fritters".
Iowa Corn Fritters Recipe
2 Cups Bisquick mix
1/2 cup cold water
1 can (17
oz. while kernel corn, drained, 2 cups)
Syrup or confectioners sugar
Heat oil to (2 to 3
inches) to 375 degrees in deep fryer or
kettle. Stir together baking mix, water
and egg until smooth. Stir in Corn. Drop
batter by small spoonfuls into hot oil.
Fry until golden brown on both
sides. Drain and serve hot with syrup.
Makes about 2 dozen.
