I have been with this group since 1996 and have never thought to send in a recipe til now. I was always afraid my favorite recipes had already been sent in to the newsletter. Here is one that we use a lot at my house. It is easy to make. It has been around a lot of years.
Ginger in Tulsa

Impossible Buttermilk Pie Recipe

1-1/2 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/3 cup margarine, melted
1 tsp vanilla
3 x eggs

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease pie plate, 9x 1/4 inches. Beat all ingredients until smooth, 30 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into plate. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Serve with mixed fresh fruit if desired. High Altitude (3500 to 6500 feet): Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
