Homemade Applesauce Recipe
McIntosh or other cooking apples, (about
2-3/4 lb); peeled and cut into chunks
1-1/2 c Water
3/4 c Sugar
apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon in
lg. saucepan. Bring to boil; reduce heat
to med-low, cover and cook until water
is absorbed, 20 to 25 mins. Cool 10
mins. Mash with potato masher or fork.
Refrigerate up to 1 week.
