Irish Beef Stew Recipe

Ingredients
2 lb. of all lean beef tips
5 med. size potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch squares
2 carrot sticks cleand and cut into small slices
2 (28 oz.) can of tomatoes
1 T. of margarine
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
First use a deep skillet, with a small amount of cooking oil in the bottom, salt and pepper the beef tips, roll them in flour, drop them into the grease and lightly brown them. Take them out and put them into the stew pot. Leaving the grease out, cover and brown the beef tips in water, let boil for 30 minutes. Add small carrot pieces, potatoes, onions, tomatoes and margarine and salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer for an hour or until done.
