Pork Chop Suey Recipe

3 slices pork steak, fat removed and cut into pieces
1 onion, sliced, then cut in halves
1 t. sugar
soy sauce
1 can bean sprouts, drained
1 lg. can mushrooms, drained
2 stalks celery, diagonally sliced
2 T. cornstarch

Brown pork and onion in oil. Add sugar and soy sauce to taste. Add bean sprouts, mushrooms, celery, and enough water to cover the mixture. Cook until tender. Thicken with cornstarch/water paste. Serve over rice or noodles.
