J in Indy this recipe is very old I use this one for bread a lot. And believe it or not I found my golden cake bread recipe!!

Homemade Bread

1 yeast pkg (I use bulk and use 1&1/2 tsp)
1 qt warm water
3tbs sugar
3 tbs oleo or oil
1&1/2tbs salt
12 to 14 cups flour

This can be halved this will make 3 or 4 loaves depending on size of pans. This recipe was given to me by a woman in her 90s she got it as a new bride at 16 in So Carolina. If you are not sure of directions for bread e-mail Nancy I get her letters every day.
