For Jesica in Georgia--- I should have been more specific. 2 cans 26oz EACH. The Houston's Bar B Q Beans recipe, as you can imagine, is a scaled down version of what I observed in their kitchen as they were cooking what looked like 10 gallons. Anyway, the recipe in Nancy's letter Is what I wrote down when I was cooking them for a crowd. Most of the time I halve the recipe. For you. I would use two 15oz cans for 6 people and you will have plenty with leftovers.

Modified Houston's Beans for 2, 15oz CANS
3 slices bacon chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 cans Ranch Style Beans 15oz each

Saute onion in bacon until limp and mix with rest. Cook in dish in 250 F oven for an hour.
