With strawberry season upon us this is a favorite
and also a much requested "Birthday Cake" in our family.

Strawberry Almond Tart

In processor mix:
1/2 cup almond paste or an entire 7 oz tube will do also.
1/2 cup granulated sugar

Add:
10 Tbs butter
3 eggs
1/2 cup flour

Spread in greased 8-9” tart pan. Bake 375 oven for 20-25 min.

Cool 10 minutes and coat with either lemon curd or strawberry jam. Top with slices of fresh strawberries and top with whipped cream.
