Hamburger and Potato Pie

1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
garlic powder
1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
mashed potatoes (4 to 6 potatoes)
2 oz. Cheddar cheese

Brown hamburger and onion. Season hamburger with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Drain hamburger and place in 2 quart casserole dish. Spread creamed corn on top of hamburger. Spread mashed potatoes over creamed corn. Sprinkle top of potatoes with cheese. Warm in oven (350 degrees) for 5 to 10 minutes.
Serves 4 to 5.
