Stuffed Hamburgers
2 lb. ground meat
2 medium tomatoes
6 slices cheese
Season ground meat for making hamburgers. Slice tomatoes and
cheese. Make 12 (4-inch) patties 1/2 the thickness of your
regular hamburgers. Put 6 patties down; put 1 tomato slice
and cheese slice on top of patty. Place remaining patties on
top. Press to seal edges. Make sure they are well sealed.
Arrange burger on grill. Burgers must be handled gently.
Grill 6 to 8 minutes on one side, turn and grill on other
side 6 to 8 minutes.
Makes 6 hamburgers.
