Frosting Fudge Brownies
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2 squares (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
2 tbsp. butter
1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 7"x11" or 9" pan. Sift
flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Melt butter and
chocolate over low heat. Remove and stir in sugar. Let cool.
Add eggs and vanilla; stir well. Fold in flour mixture. Stir
in nuts. Spread in prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes. Cool.
Melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Remove and stir in
confectioners' sugar and milk until smooth. (If thick, add 1
to 2 teaspoons milk.) Spread frosting over brownies. Cool.
