Buttermilk Salad
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 [8 oz.] container whipped topping
1 can mandarin oranges, [drained]
1- 15 1/2 oz. can pineapple tidbits [drained]
1 Pkg. Fudge Striped Cookies
Blend buttermilk and pudding mix. Blend. Gently fold in whipped topping
Add drained fruits. Crush cookies so they are like soda crackers for soup & add.
Blend together. Refrigerate. If possible, let set overnight, BUT can be served
sooner if necessary.
Serves 12. Easy, delicious, attractive salad.

Powdered buttermilk does not have to be mixed
separately. I just add the powder with my flour and the water with the my other
liquids and let it mix in the batter.
