Buttermilk Waffles

3 cups flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon sugar
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups buttermilk*
6 to 8 tablespoons, melted butter

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking soda, and sugar. Beat eggs until light and foamy. Add 2 cups of buttermilk.. Add the rest of the liquids to the dry ingredients. Mix in the buttermilk and make the batter thin if desired. Add butter and pour onto waffle iron. Cook according to your waffle maker. Makes 10-12 waffles. This one is awesome!

* Powdered buttermilk does not have to be mixed separately. I just add the powder with my flour and the water with the my other liquids and let it mix in the batter.
