Return to recipes using buttermilk.

Peach Buttermilk Dessert

2 (3 ounce) pkgs. peach Jell-O
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple

Combine Jell-O and pineapple and heat over low heat until dissolved. Stir until it bubbles. Cool.

Then add: 2 cups buttermilk*
1 lg. carton Cool Whip
1 c. chopped pecans

Fold together. Pour in lightly oiled mold and refrigerate.

* Powdered buttermilk does not have to be mixed separately. I just add the powder with my flour and the water with the my other liquids and let it mix in the batter.
