Coke Baked Steak or Venison
1 round steak or venison cut into serving pieces
1 bell pepper
1 c. ketchup
1 onion
1 coke (16 oz.)
Salt, pepper, and flour the steak pieces. Brown in hot oil. Pour off
all but 2 tbsp. grease. Place a slice of onion on each serving of
steak. Pour ketchup and coke over all of the meat and simmer for
about 45 minutes (covered).
Serves 4.
