Country Pot Roast

3 Pounds pork roast, (3 to 4)
Salt, to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
1 Cup cranberries, finely chopped
1/4 Cup honey
1 Teaspoon grated orange peel
1/8 Teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 Teaspoon ground nutmeg

Sprinkle roast with salt and pepper. Place in slow cooking crockpot. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over roast. Cover. Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
