Aries
It won't be tough at all to talk yourself into spending a few extra dollars
on a dear one to make this a very special Valentine's Day. In fact, if
you're out shopping for them, better bring someone along who doesn't love
them quite so much. Just this once, you might get completely out of control
when it comes to the plastic. Oh, well. 'Tis the season. And won't they be
tickled?
Taurus
If there was ever a time -- no, absolutely destined -- for the beginning of
a romance, this, for you, is definitely it. All the cosmic lights are green.
Very green. So when you're invited out, do yourself a favor. Forget all
about washing your hair, doing your grocery shopping or any other shallow
excuse you had lined up to avoid this. Get dressed -- nicely -- and go!
Gemini
You're definitely going to feel torn -- in at least two directions. First
off, you'll want to keep those wonderful, special reservations you've made
-- which may be tough to do, even though they weren't easy to get. Second,
you'll want to be totally spontaneous, which is what your sweetie will want.
There's only one thing to do: Lie. Tell them you just had the most
scathingly brilliant idea, take them to the place you'd planned on taking
them and bribe the waiter to keep their mouth shut.
Cancer
Romance is in the air, without a doubt. Whether or not it's the kind of
romance you can talk about is an entirely different story. If either of you
isn't fully available at the moment, you'd better keep quiet. Totally quiet.
Once jealousy becomes involved, things could spiral entirely out of control.
And while you're an expert at restoring balance, you can only do so much.
Leo
Don't worry about losing your sanity. This phase you're going through is
only temporary. You simply want to do everything you possibly can to make
your sweetheart's Valentine's Day special, and you won't stop at anything to
make that happen. By tomorrow, you'll be back to normal -- for you, at least
-- which means you'll be pooh-poohing all public displays of affection. For
now, think of it as doing something that's radically different -- something
that will raise everyone's eyebrows. There. You like the idea better
already, don't you?
Virgo
After days of dashing about, doing at least three things at once, you're
suddenly in the mood to snuggle -- and you know exactly who to invite to
help satisfy that wish. If you're single, however, don't settle for a teddy
bear. Get out there and start looking around. You're definitely due to meet
someone new. And this time out, they'll probably be intelligent enough to
keep you interested.
Libra
It may have been a long time coming -- at least in the eyes and in the heart
of the person who's been waiting for the verdict -- but you're ready to make
a decision. You've mulled over your choice long enough, so don't hesitate to
announce it immediately. You'll know if it's right as soon as soon as you
see the reactions of your loved ones. Holding off any longer would only
serve to raise doubts, even in your own mind.
Scorpio
This will be a Valentine's Day you won't soon forget -- for all the right
reasons. You'll be especially emotional -- but then, so will the person
you've directed your loving, affectionate attention toward. So how could
this be less than memorable? If there's any way at all you can manage to
take some time off from the world -- and spend it with your special someone
-- please do.
Sagittarius
Ready to raise some eyebrows? Well, when aren't you? Your freedom-seeking
nature makes it all too easy to try something new, no matter who might have
refused before you. The good news now is you're operating with a nice, solid
safety net, while being allowed to dream at the same time. So what's the
holdup? Get busy turning those dreams into a reality. What have you always
wanted to do?
Capricorn
You were probably downright ecstatic when you woke up this morning. It's
Valentine's Day, and finally, officially time to make your grand entrance at
the home of your beloved -- or, better still, from a dramatic, romantic
viewpoint, at their place of leisure, with an audience. Either way, do it up
big. Brandish the flowers and the gifts proudly with your usual flair. Make
them feel as special as you know they are.
Aquarius
Money matters will be tricky to manage now. It's not that you'll be having
problems with your checkbook, exactly, or that you won't be able to come up
with what you need to make the day special. The issue is, you may suddenly
decide to do something spontaneous, but you'll be uncomfortable with the
lack of planning -- like the rest of the celebrations you've arranged. Oh,
deal with it. Go with your gut. It's Valentine's Day.
Pisces
You never, ever miss a chance to spoil someone you love on a daily basis. So
when a certain someone remembers to return the favor, don't you dare argue
about it. It's now officially your turn to receive the benefits. Sit down,
be quiet and smile. Oh, and when they're done, go ahead and pass out those
gifts you've been hoarding.
