CABBAGE AND BEEF

1-1/2 Pounds ground beef
1 Medium onion, chopped
1 Small cabbage head
2 Cans diced tomatoes - (15 oz ea)
1 Can tomato sauce - (8 oz)
(or 1 can condensed tomato soup)
1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon - (to 1 tspn)
Salt, to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
2 Cups hot cooked rice

Brown ground beef with onion; transfer to crockpot. Slice cabbage into small wedges; place on ground beef. Mix tomatoes, sauce, and seasonings; pour over all. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours. Serve over the rice or mix together. This recipe yields 6 servings.
